Ma Sijiu, awarded with JM, is a graduate of the prestigious Intellectual Property Institute of Shanghai University. He obtained the Legal Profession Qualification and the Patent Agent Qualification in 2012 and 2014 separately. From 2008 to 2012, he successively worked as an assistant to Automatic Engineer in an Electrochemical Group, and practiced in a procuratorate and then practiced in a law firm to deal with the IPR affairs, IP criminal cases, patent applications. From 2012 to 2015, he served as the IPR Supervisor in one of the world's top 500 companies (China HQ), mainly responsible for IP Risk and Countermeasures, IP Creation and Utilization, IP Assets Management, Anti-unfair Competition, and the related legal services. In 2015, he joined the Heng Xin team. Ma Sijiu has extensive experience in foreign-related intellectual property law,and has substantial knowledge in the corporate cultures and operational characteristics of the foreign enterprises. He is an expert in patent documents drafting, application, OA response, invalidation, reexamination, infringement litigation, patent search, and legal consultation in the field of industry automation and related fields.
Mr. Li Shuai graduated from the Dalian Maritime University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Navigation. He worked onboard merchant vessels engaged in ocean trading for more than ten years and obtained the qualification of master mariner. Following the career at sea, he attended Shanghai Maritime University, graduating there in 2018 with a master’s degree in maritime law. He then joined Wang Jing & Co., and worked there until the end of 2021. In 2022, he joined Heng Xin Law Office. Thanks to his navigation experience, Mr. Li Shuai has participated in the handling of many complex collision accidents and achieved excellent results.
Ms. Ruan Huiling graduated from the Shanghai Maritime University with a bachelor’s degree in Law in 2011 and took extra courses in Journalism in Fudan University. In 2012, she was awarded with a master’s degree (LLM) from the Bristol University where her study focused on commercial law. Ms. Ruan Huiling had been worked in Wang Jing & Co., Shanghai Office from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, thereafter she joined Heng Xin Law Office. Ms. Ruan Huiling advises shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, H&M underwriters and other ship interests with a particular focus on admiralty and maritime disputes.
Miss Wang Yidi graduated from the Law School China University of Political Science and Law with a bachelor’s degree in Law in 2015 and was awarded with a master’s degree (LLM) in 2016 from the University College London where she specialized in international commercial law. She joined Heng Xin Law Office in January 2017. Miss Wang Yidi advises shipowners, P&I Clubs, H&M underwriters and other ship interests with a particular focus on admiralty and maritime disputes.
Zhao Yan graduated from the law school of Liaoning Normal University in 2004 with LL.B degree. In the same year, she was recommended and offered to study postgraduate degree in the same university and in 2007 she was awarded with LL.M degree. She obtained the legal profession qualification in 2006 and joined Heng Xin Law Office in 2007 to practice as a professional lawyer. Since practicing, she has acted as legal consultant for a number of listed companies, real estate companies, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions. Her primary practicing areas include corporate, real estate, security, and investment. She participated in non-contentious legal matters such as corporate reformation, reconstruction, insolvency and reorganization, IPO and listing in domestic and overseas market. Zhaoyan has also handled a substantial amount of contentious cases relating to corporate and commercial legal matters. She has extensive practical experiences.
Mr. He graduated from the law department of Liaoning University in 1993 with a bachelor degree in law. In 2001, he obtained JM degree in Liaoning University. He once served as a visiting professor of Liaoning University and Shenyang Normal University. Mr. He has been engaged in civil and commercial law since he graduated from the University. He has more than 20 years of civil and commercial trial experience and undertaken a large number of major and difficult civil and commercial cases. Mr. He has long focused on the field of civil and commercial law. He has accumulated rich legal practice experience in his work for many years and has strong professional ability. He is mainly engaged in legal analysis and business guidance of civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution cases, and has won praise from customers.
